Late Birthday Present

Last year, I took the youngest grand to Build -A-Bear for her birthday.  When she showed her older sister her birthday present, the older sister was just crushed that she didn't get one for her birthday. It just broke my heart that I could have been so thoughtless.  I then made a promise to her that I would take her to Build-A-Bear for her next birthday.
So this year, true to my promise off to the mall we went.

Her choice was a white puppy.  I don't know how much her mother will appreciate the color.  But Oh Well!!!
She then picked out a heart and sealed it with a kiss; gave it to the attendant to put in Lacy.

Next we went to the computer area to create a birth certificate for Lacy.  Lucky Lacy getting a big hug from this precious grand.

As newborns do, Lacy also needed a bath before she was dressed.

Two outfits were chosen for Lacy, one purchased by me and the other as a gift from her Aunt Kel.

The whole adventure was completed with a crown for Lacy's new owner.

Our next adventure was clothes shopping at the Justice Store.

Shopping is right up this little one's alley.  You can just about see the wheels turning...

It was a perfect day...

And that's the way it is...............

  6. Oh, how cute! You really made her day with all those treats. She's a beautiful little girl. Is she the one who's hearing impaired? BTW... thanks for your note. I may be starting another blog -- I'll let you know!

  7. Ah, you did a great thing there. The smiles on that cutie's face tell the story. She is in love with that little white dog which is adorable by the way. Perfect gift Grandma.

  8. My granddaughters love the Justice store. Me, not so much. I think their clothes are a little too bedazzled. Sounds like she had a great birthday.
