More Flowering Cactus

Around noon, my friend Deb called me.  Last year  there was a cactus that had an unusual shape!  (Well -- to us old ladies and wild imaginations; it did!)

The nature of Deb's call was to let me know that this unusual shaped cactus was blooming.
 It had four blooms today.
Each bloom would only last twenty-four hours.

This afternoon I walked over to Deb's condo complex and took photos.
I think the close ups are stunning.
I don't know what kind of cactus it is but I think the blooms are beautiful.

Don't you agree?

And that's the way it is...................

  4. Those were everywhere in this park for a while, so sad that the blossoms only last a day. People here called them Easter cactus.
