Its Starting

Fall has begun in the north woods.  This morning I went over to to the creek.   We passed it a few days ago, and I visualized a few good shots with the rising sun over the creek.
This is a bit early for the colors to start but it has been an unusual year.  Everything seems a month  earlier than normal.
Look what I found in the middle of nowhere, a wonderful spot to watch the world slowly move by.

And that's the way it is.............................

  3. What a lovely peaceful spot to visit. Great shots, and yes the fall colors are early, but what can we do, other then enjoy them.

  4. That first photo is gorgeous! Yesterday, for the first time, I noticed some color changes in the leaves. Our dogwood has one limb that's a brilliant red-orange. The trees by the creek are becoming more colored and I'm noticing that the vast areas of green are now sporting more golds, oranges, and reds. It's only August What will autumn be like? Well, I guess I'd better enjoy what's left of summer!!
    Peace,

  7. Yes, there is such a difference in the light already. We are still having warm and sunny days, but there is something in the light that keeps whispering "this won't last."

  10. LOVE that first pic! Great reflections. We've had rain, rain, rain since I returned from vacation. Hope that really means good color on the trees in a few weeks!
