Yesterday friends asked us to join them on their pontoon, 'tooning around Pickerel Lake.
While going around the lake, I spied this chair sitting in front of a very rustic cottage.
I immediately fell in love with it.
If it were mine; it would be perfect just the way it is, in a flower garden, with a great big pot of red geraniums sitting on it.
If it were yours what would you do with it?
And that's the way it is...........
I thought you were going to say you had no lawn chair to put on the pontoon so you used the old yellow chair.. LOL LOL... I would take a photo just like you did and leave it there.
ReplyDeletei LOVE that chair!! i would sand it down, paint it purple, rough it up, cut a round hole in the seat, large enough to hold a pot of mixed wildflowers.
ReplyDeletedid you get it????
Hi Muffy... I agree with your idea totally. In fact I have a old chair with peeling, chipping yellow paint lol. It has a pot of red geraniums on it!! :}

It does have its rustic charms. I would admire it in someone else's yard and move on.
ReplyDeleteI'd probably repaint it blue, and sit in it.
ReplyDeleteI love the rustic chair in all its glory. Plop that geranium on top and you'll be worthy of a spread in House Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely the same thing Muffy. I love this rustic chair. Hugs, LJ
ReplyDeleteYep, it would look great in a garden!
ReplyDeleteI would set it someplace along the back road where we walk and use it for a rest stop:)
