It looks like I'm going somewhere fun!!
I would like to dream that we are taking a few days to go farther north to view all the fall colors. Unfortunately, that is not the case.
I'm packed to go south to the hospital where I will have knee replacement surgery!!
It will probably be eight to ten days before I can return home. We live about two and a half hours from this particular hospital. I will stay three days at the hospital, and get re-hab started. From there they will transport me to a Rehabilitation Center for five to seven days.
I am ready for the surgery and hope it all goes well. I am really tired of the pain in my knee with every step I take.
I will keep you posted as to what this adventure brings!!!
And that's the way it is................
oh, i hope all goes well!!! maybe you're going to my hometown area that is well known for it's clinic and hospital facilities... regardless, i hope all goes perfectly!!!
ReplyDeletei pray for your complete recovery and we will be waiting.

ReplyDeleteWishing you heal quickly and are home again soon pain-free.
ReplyDeleteMy friend had knee replacement on July 10th, and by now she's walking/running, kneeling, and everything in between. She's so happy she did it! I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers that you have the same success.
ReplyDeleteOh doesn't sound fun. Hope all goes well. I will add you to my morning walk prayers!!!
ReplyDeleteWill be praying that the surgery goes smoothly, recovery is speedy and that pain is no longer in your vocabulary. I had a friend get both done at 80 and she scooted around quite nicely, pain free till she passed this year at 99. Her advice was to be faithful with the therapy. Please let us know how you are doing.
ReplyDeleteWishing you the very best outcome, and a speedy recovery. How wonderful to know that soon you will be painfree.
