It never fails, our pontoon is still buried and our daughter and her family are on vacation. We are up to our ears in work and feel bad that we can't do more with them this week.
The grandkids managed to get out on a boat with friends and they caught some fish. Our grandson caught seventeen fish.
He and his dad brought them over, wondering if grandpa could clean them. Well if grandpa cleaned them, then grandma would fry them.
What kind of a fisherman won't touch a fish? Notice the gloves he's wearing to get the fish out of the bucket and hand them to grandpa?
He caught some pretty decent size fish.
His sister is looking at the fish cleaning process in total disgust!!
As the cleaning went on, they both got a little braver.
Next its grandma's turn. I re-washed the fish, then dried and breaded them.
And into the frying pan they go!!!
When I finished frying, he had quite a plate full of fish.
And he really enjoyed his first fish fry of the season!!!
And that's the way it is.......................
i am not a fish eating person but i'm sure it was good!
