Another Adventure

A few weeks ago, we took a road trip to the 'Road Runner' Bar and Grill.

Otherwise known as the floating bar.

The bar/restaurant is on a barge on the banks of the Colorado River.

The floating bar is attached to land by walkways.  I didn't get a photo of the customer's walkway;  but did get a shot of the staff's walkway.  

Once inside, we had many seating choices.  Usually the place is packed; we were there at an off time when the temperatures were cooler.  

The window's have clear louvers that are opened when its warmer.

Lunch was delicious, unfortunately I  was too hungry to think about pictures.  

I sure enjoyed watching the clean up crew!!!  This guy has adapted to walking on the highly glossed tables.  He did miss step a few times, and was hilarious to watch.

After lunch we went outside to enjoy the beautiful view of the river.

The water is so crystal clear.  

It  was a lovely way to spend a sunny afternoon.

And that's the way it is.......................
