Visiting Grands

The Minnesota Education System had a few days of no school and we decided to go visit the grands!!

What a difference in life styles!!  We live on a one lane, (literally) barely black-topped road.
There is much road construction in the Minneapolis - St. Paul area, resulting in traffic back-ups everywhere.
We finally did arrive at our son's house, and had a wonderful time with the grands.

This was the first time we saw this grand with her new glasses.  Most of the time they are sliding down her nose.   The first time she put them on she said to her daddy, "everything is so big!!"

The weather didn't cooperate, so we spent a lot of time indoors.  We colored, drew pictures, did some crafts, and painted!!

Even though it was quiet, we laughed, giggled, and played jokes on each other!!

Grand #4 said I was queen and made me a crown, and took my picture!!  Gosh, I like that kid!!!

And that's the way it is.....................

  3. Spending quality time with the GrandLoves is one of my favorite things to do...your GrandGals are gorgeous. Looks like the blue-eyed sweetheart has on glasses that are too big for her small face. Could be why they fall down all the time...precious.
Home again to our less traveled roads is always with a deep sigh.
Oh, had some of your Cake In A Mug last night...lemon, this time. Thanks again for your quick dessert recipe.

  11. Looks like great fun except for the traffic...a traffic jam out here is when Turkey cross the road and people stop from both directions! I bet you were a good Queen! :)

  17. The traffic looked horrific but the grandkids were worth it - the visit was a necessity seeing as a coronation took place.
