Quartzite

On Wednesday, we took a trip down to Quartzite,  for  a huge 'Swap Meet'.

There was so much to look at:
A booth for the cat lovers...

Even though you can't tell from the photo, these paintings were nicely done.

I thought of Debbie over at itsallaboutpurple when I took this photo.
(Visit her and find out why!!)

I wanted to buy hubby this shirt, but he didn't want it....wonder why?

Nor did he want these cut rocks, displaying their beautiful contents.
Goes to show you can never judge a book by its cover!!!

Here's a gift for that 'hard to buy for' person on your Christmas list.

I case you haven't guessed, they're wine racks made out of stone.
I haven't quite figured out how to wrap or transport one!!

After two hours retail overload set it, we found a home-made ice cream vendor.

We were expecting good creamy ice cream, and were so disappointed with our sample.
It tasted like ice milk, with hardly any chocolate flavoring; and for almost $5 for a very small portion, we declined.

We  did find an 'adult day care'!!

There we relaxed with our friends, had a couple of beers.

And that's the way it is................

  10. hehe, awwwww muff, thanks for the shout out. you will never see anything "flip-flop" again and not think of me. it's great you were allowed to take pictures, all the shows like this that i have been going to, don't allow pictures!! i guess they don't want peeps to copy there products.

you should have bought that tee for the hubs, he would have worn it ;)

awesome adult day care, those stools ARE awesome!!

  12. Can't imagine why hubby wouldn't want that t-shirt ;>) But I agree about the flip-flops sentiment, and that adult day care was likely much better than 'icy' ice cream.

  13. It looks so great to see people outside and not all bundled up to their eyeballs! I think one of those big kitties would be perfect by my front door this spring.
