Busy Thanksgiving Weekend

Our family doesn't often have the chance to get together; when we do, we lump a lot of events together.
Besides our traditional Thanksgiving Dinner, we celebrated all our November birthdays.
Four of them!!!

Our family tradition is a Dairy Queen Cake.  Yum, yum.

Prior to Thanksgiving I made a whole bunch of Christmas cut out cookies.
We all had a great time frosting them.

After all  the cookies were frosted, they were  packaged up to take home!!

And how can cousins ever become friends if they don't have some play time!!!

And some 'chill' time!!

And wait until I tell you about our visit from Swampatoes!!!

And that's the way it is..........................

  13. That looks like a fun tradition. Plus, if done after the Thanksgiving feast, not too many will disappear before the get into the boxes! I like that Packer hat I see. ;)

  14. Aren't family get-togethers great ! And what better activity than making cookies - that you get to take HOME ! Our family (now and in the past) also lives far apart and so it's nice when the cousins get a chance to get re-acquainted.
