Mystery Solved

For the life of me, I couldn't figure out how my Humming Bird Feeder emptied so fast.

Until I caught the culprit red handed.  She's going to get in big trouble if she keeps drinking the feeder dry!!

And that's the way it is...............

  4. That is a great snapshot! We have a raccoon who will drain our hummingbird feeder at night so Mike always hides it the grill before going to bed.

  9. Ah ha, the culprit! Sad to say, but we havent had many hummers at all this year. I have my two feeders out, and clean and re-fill often, but they must like some other feeders better.

  11. Fantastic shot ! She has teets which means she has babies somewhere ! I have only had a squirrel do this once to my nectar feeders last year , so far so good they haven't touched them this year . Thanks for sharing ! Have a good day !

  18. Love the photo...the last time I had hummingbird feeders in Virginia I discovered about the squirrel addiction to sweet water...the sad part was he didn't get half of it, it just ran out on the ground when he tipped it. of course it provided entertainment for Don from his hospital bed :)

  23. My feeders are hung high and off the deck railing by about 14-18". I've not had any trouble with uninvited guests, except for some wasps. I'm not sure what to do about them, but the hummingbirds seems nonplussed!
