Oh my, to release my camera to a repair place was like sending my kids off on their first day of kindergarten.
There is never a good time to be without my side-kick, but the fall color change is killing me. I still have my old small camera, but it doesn't perform all the tricks as my G11. I would love to share photos of the colors, and I will, only the following photos are from last year. I hope I get the call any day, that my camera is repaired and ready for pick up.
And that's the way it is.................................
Oh my can't imagine being with out my camera even for a short period...... you have my sympathy. Love fall colours!
ReplyDeleteMuffy, these are beautiful also. I hope that you get your camera back real soon!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Jan
Hope you get the Canon back quickly! These are lovely photos to tide us over, though. We really have no color changes yet!
ReplyDeletePeace,
Muff
I get that feeling also...there is a side hinge on mind that is broken, but to send it off, and be without? Never...
ReplyDeleteI so rely on my camera, and I need a new one, this current one is acting up, showing it's age, but we are holding off getting a newer and more expensive model. Sigh...
Love the shots of the Autumn colors.
Remember, it's not the camera, it's the photographer. And much as I don't want to part with mine, sometimes it's a good thing to challenge yourself by using a lower grade model for awhile. You will find that you can really push the limits with them.

i lost my nikon for at least 6 weeks after a wii/beverage mishap!! i'm not going to sugar coat it.....it was horrible!! i had my old cannon point & shoot but it's just not the same!!
ReplyDeletegorgeous images today. i love autumn, it's my favorite time of the year!!
I am sorry you are without your camera. It's good that it can be fixed though--even at the cost of a new camera, which I am sure is what the company would prefer. I have noticed that many of my pictures look exactly the same over the years--the same things keep attracting me. The foilage is just lovely.
ReplyDeletePretty fall photos. I hope you get your camera back soon. I would be lost, too!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice afternoon.
I hear ya ! I am lost without my camera in hand , I surprise myself I don't sleep with it attached to my hand lol ! I hope they fix it and it doesn't cost a lot ! With our Nikon's it is some times cheaper to buy just a new camera body then get them fixed it's crazy ! With Nikon's it's the lenses that are the expensive part ! Lovely photos though ! Have a good day !
ReplyDeletei forgot i was here earlier!! shhhhh, don't tell anyone!!
ReplyDeleteHope you soon have your camera back. These are lovely and full of autumn color.
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice camera you have..I looked at it to replace the old point and shoot I have for everyday..my on off switch is getting worn out. I hope you get your camera back soon!! :(
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos...I imagine you are missing your companion...sure hope you get your camera back soon because I will miss your stunning photos! Wishing you a beautiful evening!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Holy cow...I would rather lose my big toe...I hope your camera comes back better than new.
ReplyDeleteLeaving your house without a camera is like being in a dream that you're walking around town...N*KED! very un-nerving!! Hope your babe is returned home safely very soon!
ReplyDeleteYour pics are gorgeous! Hope your camera is fixed and polished and back to you soon:@)
ReplyDeleteI feel your pain ~ I too would be lost without my camera... and my computer. My computer is making a noise that I know it isn't suppose to be making. It's on it's last leg and I cross my fingers, legs, arms, eyes, and everything else that's crossable everyday that it keeps on working.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are beautiful even if they are from last yr. Guess what I bought a pumpkin and puff
ReplyDeletepaint today. Hope mine turns out like the picture on your blog.
I feel for you, I depend on mine too! I have "mishaps" all the time and have that sinking feeling I've scratched the lens or got water in it. I can imagine it would be an expensive fix. Your pictures are always so good!
ReplyDeleteStill great photos! I too prefer my bigger Canon to the little point and shoot I carry in my purse.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous even if they are from last year! Hope you get that camera back real quick.
ReplyDeleteoh, that would worry me also. i'd feel lost without my camera handy. :)
